Our Leaf Deficiency Identification System has been setup to help you identify what possible deficiencies your plants could be suffering from. Send us us 1 or 2 photos of the leaves and we will reply directly to you with feedback. (Click here to send) Alternatively you can also browse our database below. The typical deficiency symptom of magnesium is interveinal chlorosis in older leaves due to the cation’s high mobility in the plant.
Manganese activates several enzymes in plant cells in various photosynthetic reactions. Typically, manganese deficiencies are similar to magnesium, interveinal chlorosis, but occur on young leaves in citrus. Symptoms occur on younger leaves because the cations are less mobile within the plant.
